Meet Chef Matt

Hello, I'm excited you're here to adventure with HYCH hot sauces.

I began working in restaurants in 1992 and worked my way around the kitchen as a dishwasher, cook, chef, and eventually the Executive Chef of the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Portland, Oregon.

I love to travel and I love to teach. When I'm leading culinary classes, my goal is to teach people how to approach cooking in a relaxed and fun way. I will show you how you can accomplish anything in the kitchen when you have a few strong foundational habits.

We're not currently offering any online culinary classes or culinary retreats around the world but we may bring those back in the future so stay tuned if that sounds like fun.
