Meet Chef Matt

Hello, I am excited to get to know you and work with you on your culinary goals. I have been working in restaurants since 1992 as a dishwasher, cook, chef, and evenutally the Executive Chef of the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Portland, Oregon.

I love to teach people how to approach cooking in a relaxed and fun way. I will show you how you can accomplish anything in the kitchen when you have a few strong foundational habits.

Whether you're looking for an individual class or bringing a group together for a team building experience, we're going to have a great time and we will eat something terrific too.
